As we gather with family and friends this Easter season, the members of Saint Vincent de Paul have taken the time to remember the neighbors-in-need that we helped over the last year. We personally contact each neighbor and offer gifts of a pie, grocery card, greeting card and letter. This year we supported 84 neighbors with a total of 114 grocery gift cards and 96 pies.
The Saint Vincent de Paul Conference members come together every Easter to support an outreach to our neighbors-in-need. This is a big effort. We re-establish a personal connection with our neighbors-in-need, collect the donated pies, prepare the enclosures, and deliver the pies. This is an example of the personal touch that makes the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul so special.
