Thanksgiving is a time to count our blessings and to be thankful. It is also a good time to remember our neighbors who may be less fortunate. Throughout the year, the Concord-Carlisle Conference provides financial assistance to families in crisis situations with expenses such as rent, utilities, food, and transportation. At Thanksgiving, we reach out to the neighbors we have previously helped, to offer encouragement and assistance if needed. We will also be delivering grocery gift cards and Table Talk pies along with hand-made greeting cards provided by our religious education students. We plan to reach out to 70 families this Thanksgiving.
